Ruri, I recently found that #9, Yet Another Related Posts Plugin, also shows up in RSS feeds, so you’re right about the SEO!

1 to 4 is a must for serious blogger to install it to their blog. number 9 can be useful for SEO purpose. That what I think.

I used WP Super Cache on another site and it handled mass hits from digg, reddit, popurls, etc. w/ no problem. I saw the traffic coming, installed it right away, and it really came through. So, thank you for the suggestion, Susan! I finally got around to changing over to it on drivelocity

I was getting hit pretty hard with spam comments – I hadn’t activated the akismet plug-in. Your blog entry gave me the solution, I activated it, and the spam is history. Thank you!

Thanks Andy! So far I’m happy with the results from using Akismet, but if I need to go further in my spam defense, I’ll definitely check out Mollom!

One of the great aspects about Wordpress is the sheer variety of third party plugins

Akismet is an essential anti-spam tool and there is also Mollom which operates on a similar premise

Actually, WP Super Cache works even better than WP Cache (give it a try!)

After a few days of using Akismet, I see that around 20 spam comments have been blocked. This definitely makes my life easier! It also shows that over 20 legit comments have been left since I added the other comment-friendly plugins, so it looks like I’m on the right path…
