Damn Allergies

This weekend was horrible for allergy sufferers around here… High winds and lots of pollen has made my life miserable. And to make things worse, I was out in the middle of it working on our vegitable garden and another landscaping project in our side yard. I took a break in the evening, but was still out shoveling soil at 8:30pm. So, I’m pretty much worthless today, but looking forward to building a small fence tomorrow. Hopefully the wind has blown most of the pollen away and the allergy meds start kicking in.

It is bad climate recently. Clinics full of patients. I think it is a sick season. Try to eat some healthy food when you are out.

I think it was more than allergies… Our son got a nasty bug from his day care last week and, I guess, it took that long to incubate. I didn’t have the high fever or bad cough, but I had to take yesterday off and get as much sleep as possible. That seemed to help as I’m doing much better today, though not anywhere near 100%.

OMG my allergies are so bad right now. There is something in the air that is for sure. This year has been the worst for me so far. I am not sure why.

It’s a spring season problem, I think. A body is going out from winter hibernation and have some transitional problems. Good idea is to take some vitamins and, of course, healthy food help you too.

I take vitamins daily, and have now added Zyrtec to that regimen. After a couple days of NyQuil and DayQuil (and it running its course) I feel much better today.

Luckily I don’t have these sorts of allergies, but I’m sorry you do. I hope its better for you soon.

Yep my allergies hit April 1st. Its tough too since I live in Chicago and it may snow this week. Allergies and snow…. That’s unfair!

I take Zyrtec and it helps some.

    Consumer Electronics, Thanks!

chris, That does suck! It kills me when the weather starts getting nice here in Spring and I get laid out and stuck indoors avoiding the pollen…

As I mentioned in my other comment, I’ve been out in the backyard too putting in a new garden area. I find anytime I work in the dirt, I end up stuffy for at least two days. But somehow having fresh tomatoes later in the summer makes it all worth while. ~ Steve, the trade show guru
PS. Maybe a dust mask would help?

Yes whenever the spring pollen rolls around the allergies start to kick in and it’s really quite like a trip to hell. I can’t even go outside without sneezing up a storm or having my eyes shed enough tears to fill the swimming pool. Springtime and summertime are also bad because I have to watch out for those bees… I can’t afford to get stung
