Tweet This Plugin Error

I’ve been using the Tweet This plugin for a little while now. I’m not sure of the results, but I liked the idea of it. Unfortunately, I’ve had to deactivate it today as it was generating errors while attempting to add new posts. Here is the error I received:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/drivelocity/wp-content/plugins/tweet-this/tweet-this.php on line 30

I’ll update if I find a fix for it. Perhaps it’s a known issue and will be fixed in an update… If it’s a conflict with another plugin, it will remain deactivated, as others have greater priority.

Did you install any new plugin recently? I hate it when there’s a plugin conflict. Hopefully you find the solution.

No, that’s one of the things I checked first. I believe Tweet This was the last plugin that I installed on this blog. Perhaps an update to another plugin is the cause… some update so often, it’s hard to tell.

This v 1.3.9 was causing “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded” on my blog. I deactivated the plugin and the errors stopped. But, I really like this plugin and have not found a replacement.

Randy Palmer: I would agree. Anyway to give back to your readers is a plus. You just do not see that anymore.
MikeHID: I hate to say it but there is NO good providers.
MikeHID: Nice catch. Thank goodness Google has continued to innovate at the top. Let’s hope they don’t go the way of Microsoft.
